The private game reserve comprises 14 000 hectares which are home to major mammals such as cheetah, white rhino, cape buffalo, giraffe, mountain zebra, wild cats, sable, large herds of antelope, many smaller animals, birds of prey and a unique collection of flora and fauna.
We have 5 different accommodation options :
Camdeboo Manor and Courtyard
Two Cape Dutch houses that are nestled at the very foot of the Sneeuberg mountains. In the past, these fine houses were the homes of several generations of settlers and have now been tastefully converted into havens of five-star luxury.
Pepper Tree Cottage
Two bedroom cottage situated in a secluded part of Camdeboo Manor’s beautiful gardens and offers a romantic setting for honeymooners or couples seeking privacy.
Resting slightly higher on the Sneeuberg Mountain slopes than its counterparts, there is Hillside Manor, a 3 bedroom house which offers magnificent sweeping valley views.
Two privately located canvas tents raised on wooden decks, situated overlooking a seasonal stream.”

Directions to Mount Camdeboo Private Game Reserve Graaff-Reinet
From Port Elizabeth, take the N2 to Cape Town, turn right onto the R75 and then right onto the R63. Continue for 5 km and then turn left onto the Petersburg dirt road. Pass through 4 security gates, the 4th is the entrance to the reserve. Continue for a further 2.5 km.
