STALK A LEOPARD – WITH CARE.
Many years ago the story was told about a group of hunters who set off one morning to stalk a leopard reported to be in the area.
Because a leopard is a very dangerous animal that does not easily give away it where abouts tension was running high. And almost to relieve the nervous tension a Hottentot guide named Klaas was boasting to all who would listen. He bragged that he was as strong as an ox his eyesight was as sharp as an eagle’s and that he could run as fast as a hare. He Klaas was scared of nothing not even a leopard. Suddenly with an ear splitting screech a partridge rose from the grass between his legs. Shocked Klaas fell on his back. To everybody’s great amusement he pulled himself up quickly and not to lose face punched the air and shouted “Dammit fisant you don’t know me yet you cannot frighten me!
