The Boer-e-Goete Christmas Market is about all things Karoo with a festive atmosphere and a “plaas-styl” look and feel.
Shoppers can look forward to quality and unique handcrafted home decor and gifts; fashion accessories; bakes, sweets and biltong; a coffee shop and family entertainment.The Boer-e-Goete Market will work like a seasonal pop-up store with one checkout point. This is a bar-code market, stallholders are welcome but will not need to be present. A professional team will be employed to manage the market.
The Boer-e-Goete Market venue is fully air-conditioned and is pet friendly.

STALLHOLDERS INFORMATIONProducts:• Stallholders will be accepted on approval of their products• Only quality, original and preferably handcrafted products will be accepted• Stallholders will need to ensure that they have enough stock for the duration of the market• Products may be stored under the stallholders table and the Boer-e-Goete staff will stock as needed• Stallholder must provide a list of their products, product prices and quantities in product value
Stall:• Stalls consist of a trestle table• Stallholders are required to design and set up their own displays. If you are unable to setup, we will gladly assist at a minimal fee.
Marketing:Boer-e-Goete will do excessive marketing to attract visitors as follows• Newspaper and magazines• Signage and correx boards• Radio and tv• Social media marketing
Security and Staff:• A professional team will be appointed for the duration of the event• A guard will be placed at the entrance and at the checkout point• We will encourage card and eft payments. A drop save method will be used for cash payments• The market venue is fully secure and will be opened and locked by management daily• Access control – Visitors will be required to pay a deposit at the market entrance and will receive a refund on exit
Costs:• Stallholders are required to pay a fee of R100.00 per day and will need to book for the duration of the market. The market runs for 16 days (including setup and strike) – Total fee due is R1600.00• The fee includes your stall; a professional management-, staff- and security team; marketing and a point of sale system• A non-negotiable commission of 20% on the stallholders total sales will be charged, products must be priced to include the commission• Stallholders will be paid for their sales by eft on 31 December 2018
