About Camdeboo National Park Fishing

The Nqweba Dam, which covers over 1000 hectares,provides cool relief during hot summer days and a base for a variety of water activities. Boating, canoeing, fishing and windsurfing are allowed on the Dam (Permit fees apply)

Permits are required for Fishing available at the Camdeboo National Park Office 049 892 3453

From Graaff-Reinet

  • From the garage at the end of Caledon Street take the N9 towards Middelburg
  • After about about 3.3 km the entrance to the Camdeboo National Park is on the left
  • Report to reception and follow directions to the camp site.
