Roode Bloem Farm House is just 10 km from Graaff Reinet on the Middleburg road.  Offering beautiful farm accommodation, sleeping 14 people, with the town’s amenities just 10 minutes’ drive away.This recently renovated 1929 farm house offers 4 bedrooms en-suite and one stunning bedroom with a separate private bathroom.
All bedrooms have 2 single beds. A separate family flat that sleeps 4 completes this great accommodation offering.
RBFH boasts a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove/oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, cutlery, crockery and all the little things one needs to self-cater. 
Wood is available for wheelbarrow braais. 
Garage parking for 4 cars and lots of space to park and turn trailers and boats characterizes the yard.
Shared areas include a quiet lounge, open stoep and formal dining room which compliments the farmhouse atmosphere.Tea and coffee facilities are available in the lounge for guests. All rooms have air conditioning.

RBFH is a convenient quiet place to spend a night or to make your base to explore the nearby Camdeboo National Park, Graaff Reinet, Nieu Bethesda and wider Karoo areas.
RBFH offers free fast wifi.
We are well suited for private functions.  Special rates apply for group or function use, like conference, sports events and weddings.

Local farmer, Tim Murray will lead you in a “Tequila Masterclass” explaining that:

they are not actually cactus, 

that they are not native to SA, 

they are used to make Tequila and Mezcal, 

and that we may not make Tequila or Mezcal in SA.

Experience the story of agave in the Karoo -   How tequila spread all over the world and how the margarita became a universal cocktail.  Find out what happened in South Africa and where the industry is going to.  Taste at least 6 Tequilas, Mezcals and agave spirits.  Enjoy a great cocktail.
