TEQUILA MASTERCLASS
Contact Tim Murray at Roode Bloem Farm, 049 8918104 or 082 6323103 or rbd@intekom.co.za
Have you ever wondered what those spikey blue cactus plants you see around Graaff Reinet are?
Local farmer, Tim Murray will lead you in a “Tequila Masterclass” explaining that:
they are not actually cactus,
that they are not native to SA,
they are used to make Tequila and Mezcal
and that we may not make Tequila or Mezcal in SA
Experience the story of agave in the Karoo - How tequila spread all over the world and how the margarita became a universal cocktail. Find out what happened in South Africa and where the industry is going to. Taste at least 6 Tequilas, Mezcals and agave spirits. Enjoy a great cocktail.
